Rochester Engineering was established in 1979 in Melbourne Australia to find and supply specialiised items of photographic equipment and electronic instruments on a non-profit basis supporting friends of the Reynolds family.
That idea quickly extended to computing equipment as this developed to the point where individuals who are not experts probably need as much help as they can get in the modern complexity of the art.
Today, the focus is on the application of computer processing to the restoration of old and damaged classical music recordings, the recording of classical music concerts and the production of Compact Discs for clients.
Rochester Engineering is a one-man-band - a registered business name in Australia - but a hobby environment that belongs to Rod Reynolds, and this site also covers some of his interests in other areas.
